Laminate floors require very little maintenance. Simple clean with an anti static mop to collect dust and if really dirty mop over with a barely damp mop.

Carpet Cleaning Tips.
Deal with the stain as soon as possible. If it's a liquid stain blot up as much of the stain as you can. If it's a solid/semi solid stain use a blunt spatula - not a knife to scrape off the stain. A sharp knife can damage the fibers. Never brush or scrub a stain- you may set it into the carpet. Pretest any spot removal agent on an inconspicuous part of the carpet. After cleaning use water to remove any cleaning solution and blot dry.
